Okay so I didn’t do that well when it came to reading in August. In fact I was only able to finish 2 books and one of them I did really care for but there’s always a new month!

1.

Forever Doon is the final book in the Doon series and I loved it. I did a complete review a couple of weeks ago it you’d like to check it out. I adore this series and this final book did not disappoint.

2.

This book was a bit odd to me and I feel like it had a lot of potential to be a great story but fell flat.  The book follows a girl who’s mentally ill mother goes missing and her estrange father shows up to help her find her mom claiming fairies have taken her.  Once the dad shows up that’s when the story started to go down hill and while I finished I won’t be finishing the series. Pretty cover though!

Well that’s it for me for the month of August. I have a lot of things planned for September with a few additional posts to my usual ones including a reading list I created for myself this fall and a few DIY projects in the works, so make sure to come and check it out.
